Rebranding: Svedka Vodka

Svedka Rebranding Booklet PDF

This is a rebranding campaign for Svedka Vodka. Svedka's existing brand is marketed towards young adults in their 20’s. The campaign is characterized by futuristic imagery, techno music, partying, and a voluptuous robotic masccot named “svedka_grl”. This futuristic world that they have created is meant to entice party-goers who embrace all things trendy.

This campaign has many flaws. The advertisements attempt to be humorous but are more likely to be deemed inappropriate and offensive. The captions in the ads are often confusing and do not highlight any qualities of the product.

In the Svedka Rebranding Booklet I have proposed 3 completely different design aesthetics, for a more successful branding campaign. In the booklet there are storyboards that depict a 5-second commercial spot for each of these rebranding concepts. Each idea represents Svedka Vodka in a unique and witty manner.
